Where it All Began: A Brief History

Former United States Navy Officer Richard D. Edwards, better known as “Ed”, began Ed’s Appliance Repair, Inc. in 1967. When Ed reached an age of retirement, his son took over the family business in 1993. Keeping “Ed” in the name, the company title changed to what we know it now as Ed’s Comfort Solutions, Inc. (ECS).

Ever since the founding of ECS in 1967, the excellent standards and core values have not changed. ECS is a customer service company that takes great pride in providing the quality service that all customers deserve. We go above and beyond all expectations. ECS has always been about delivering professional, personal, and authentic service.
